Beautiful Wedding at
Gellifawr Woodland Retreat
03 August 2019
Molly and Callum contacted me earlier in the year and told me they had been searching for a long time for the perfect wedding videographer to capture, what was to be, a celebration or love and a family-orientated wedding. They ultimately wanted a final product that was cinematic and unique, something they could share with their family and friends but also something they could treasure for themselves in the years to come, and I was delighted that they felt I was the right person for the job.
Their special day took place at the breathtaking Gellifawr Woodland Retreat in Pembrokeshire, home to beautiful architecture and nature in all its glory. The couples wedding ceremony and afternoon reception took place in the authentic country house along with the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Callum gave a very heartfelt speech to his new bride at the beginning of the meal, and Molly’s father brought us to tears with his speech. Speeches and readings are an important part of a wedding day for me, as they are key to helping drive the narrative of the film.
Molly and Callum’s day was very much an elegant and stylish day filled with laughter, catching up with friends and family and good food. Once the sun had set, it became an energetic party, which culminated in a spectacular send off. Our videography style is about capturing authentic moments. We will relax you, direct you and let that moment happen and, oh boy, the results are breathtaking. Molly, Callum and their guests gave me plenty of beautiful and fun moments to work with and I enjoyed every moment of capturing their day and creating their wedding film.
A wedding film should not only be a true representation of the couples day, but also a timeless piece of work, something every couple can look back on in years to come and be taken back to the same moments and emotions. We use tried and tested filmmaking techniques to focus on your story and only use editing, music and equipment to enhance it. If you believe in the story, if you are enraptured and enthralled by it nothing else matters.
